About Me

I am a qualified Trauma informed Integrative Child & Adolescent, Adult Psychotherapist and Systemic Family Practitioner.
For the last 20 years, I have been providing therapy to a variety of people: individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families who have complex therapeutic needs and challenging life experiences. I have previously worked in several GP Medical settings, NGOs, BAME community organisations and Inner London School Projects Primary and Secondary Schools. I have worked with a wide range of clients with different age, ethnicity, gender, faith and sexual orientation.

My approach I believe each person is unique and requires individualised therapeutic support. In my practice, I use Integrative Approach which embraces diverse therapy modalities including Attachment Focused Family Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Existential, Solution- Focused, CBT, IFS (informed) Therapy and Creative Art mediums and Play. This enables me to provide individualised tailor-made therapeutic support. I have experiences of working with Relationship difficulties, Family Break-down, PTSD , Developmental and Transgenerational Trauma, Domestic Violence, Bereavement, Loss and Separation, Attachment Difficulties, Sexual and Physical Abuse, Autism, ADHD, Eating Disorders, Self-Harm, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, complex violent behavioural issues, Anger Management, Bullying, Racism, Race and Cultural issues. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within the BACP as well as UKCP Ethical Framework. I offer short- term (up to 10 sessions) or long-term therapy with regular reviews, face to face or online therapy in English as well as Turkish.

Training

I have obtained an M.A in Child Psychotherapy, Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Family Therapy in Tavistock Institute, Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Adults , BA (Hons) in Philosophy, (Psychology and Sociology) and trained and worked as a SFSC parenting group facilitator.
