About Me

I’m Naseema, a trainee relational integrative psychotherapist and a warm welcome!

Starting therapy can seem like an overwhelming step, but by even saying you need support or that you need space, you have taken a big leap already.

I’m based in Hackney and I welcome all spectrum of diversity. Living in a big noisy city can be distracting and exciting, but it can leave us little space for ourselves.

The therapy space between ourselves is built on empathy, warmth and trust. For whatever reason you are coming to therapy, I want to give you space and time to explore what makes you, you. Every person is unique and brings their own personal experiences.

So what does integrative relational psychotherapy mean?

It refers to the process of integrating the personality: taking disowned, unaware, or unresolved aspects of the self and making them a part of our full being. It helps us reduce the use of defense mechanisms that inhibit spontaneity and limit flexibility in problem solving, health maintenance, and relating to people, and re-engaging the world with full contact.

I am currently in my third year in training and attend regular supervision. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, shame, self-confidence, race/culture and identity, relationship issues and trauma. I welcome those from LGBTQ backgrounds.

Sessions
I offer a 15-minute introductory phone call, so we can explore what brings you to therapy and then decide together on the next steps.

Rates
My rates are £50 per 50-minute sessions.
