About Me

I’m a psychotherapist and counsellor working online and in person in London. I am a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and work in accordance with their ethical framework. I practice Person-centred Experiential Therapy which has its roots in humanistic and existential approaches to therapy.

I believe therapy to be a unique encounter that is shaped by the needs of the individual. Therefore, the relationship and the dialogue that we build and the experiences within this encounter are at the core of the therapy I provide. I aim to provide a safe and non- judgmental space for my clients where they can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences and understand them better. I believe that through this exploration, awareness and acceptance of the true and authentic self can emerge.

I also provide a systemic perspective, believing that therapy cannot be beneficial if it is happening in a bubble. I invite my clients to locate and explore their subjective experiences within the universal, as pressures may arise from living in systems such as family systems, work environments, the city/country one lives in etc.

I approach my clients with interest, openness and genuineness. I think therapy is a journey we embark on, where we explore side by side even when the road ahead looks dark and daunting. My goal is not to give advice but to support you to reach the wisdom and strength I believe you have within.

I have experience working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, relational struggles, loss and bereavement, psychosis and trauma.

My background

Prior to starting my journey in psychology and psychotherapy, I was an engineer. I had trained and worked in many different settings from laboratories to the pharmaceutical sector. While processing difficult experiences in my own life I found therapy to be very valuable. My appreciation of the safe therapeutic space where I was listened to without judgement and my desire to form genuine connections led me to train as a psychotherapist.

I also have a special interest in the mind-body connection due to personal experiences with athletics and yoga practice. I competed semi-professionally for 8 years as a short distance runner and long jumper. I am a strong believer in focusing on the well-being of the person as a whole, be it through breath, movement or art. As Martin Buber said “All real living is meeting” and I hope through our time together we will meet each other and you will meet with your authentic self; mind and body.
