My name’s Nicola and I’m a certified Personal Performance (Life) Coach, I live in Hackney with my two young daughters and husband. I have a particular interest and experience in: career coaching, work-life balance, happiness, habits and motivation and finding fulfilment. I’m passionate about supporting people to live their best lives. We only get one go at it.
All clients come to me because they want something to be different in their lives. They might want a new job, more purpose, increased connection, to be happier or healthier. They come because they have struggled to make the change themselves or they want to get there faster.
That’s where I come in…
Coaching is a structured conversation. As your coach I’ll be asking you lots of questions to help you get a better perspective on where you are, what might have happened previously and how you may like to progress. At times I might offer up an exercise, some reading or something that has worked for me or a client in the past.
It’s not just about talking though, it’s very much about doing. Together we’ll work out some things you can take action on and you’ll get started. I’m all about a test and learn approach. It’s unlikely we’ll find the answers thinking, even by talking – you’ll need to get stuck in and take action.
Coaching is different from therapy in that it is less concerned with the past and is rather focused on creating our future by actions we take in the present. I often work with clients who have had very successful therapy and would now like to move forward in their lives with a better understanding themselves and the people around them.
I offer all new clients a free half hour introduction call to find out if we are a good fit and to answer any questions. After this call I’ll be able to recommend what might best suit your situation.
Sessions
I usually run sessions online but I’m happy to discuss delivering in person at Hackney Therapy House if this is more convenient.
Rates
For new clients I charge £180 per month, this is for three 1-hour sessions. I usually recommend a minimum commitment of three months.
