Kate Joseph is an Integrative Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience working one-to-one with clients and, more recently, with couples. Initially qualified as an Integrative therapist, Kate is most informed by her further training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and is continuing ongoing training in trauma informed somatic approaches. These models provide powerful, non-pathologising ways of working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship distress, and other challenges, supporting clients in developing deeper connection with themselves and others. Drawing on humanistic values and an attachment-based lens, Kate tailors therapy to the unique needs of each client—whether that means focusing on the present moment, exploring the body and nervous system, or understanding how early experiences continue to shape patterns today. Warm, collaborative, and flexible in style, Kate offers an inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming practice that honours each person’s unique way of experiencing the world. She trusts the wisdom within each client’s system to guide the process of healing and change.
